Photography Without Pressure

A Slower Way to See

My father had a photography studio in Paraná, Brazil. I grew up around cameras, film, darkrooms. When I moved to Japan in 1991, I brought a Kodak and kept shooting.

Somewhere along the way, photography on the internet turned into a competition. Better gear, better editing, more followers. I never wanted that.

This site is what I actually do: walk somewhere, notice something, take the photo. No goals, no timeline, no pressure to improve.

If that sounds like the kind of photography you’re looking for, you’re in the right place.
